About Pirate Properties
I’m Kristen Kreuser, the Owner of Pirate Properties. I am a born and raised mid-westerner who loves traveling with my family, especially if it leads us to sunshine and the water. When my husband and I bought our first vacation rental, we had no idea what we were diving into. We’ve always been dreamers but buying an out-of-state property in an unknown location and planning to launch as our first short-term rental in under 60 days … and also manage it remotely from 5 states away … well, that fell into the “potentially risky” category.
That first year we overcame a lot of challenges and I eagerly learned any and everything I could about vacation rentals. As our personal portfolio grew, so did my knowledge & passion for this industry. Not long after, I left my corporate job, secured my first few clients (who thankfully believed in me before my 100s of reviews and this fancy website) and Pirate Properties LLC was born.

Kristen and Kyle’s place was the perfect environment for our family. we used it as a home base and visited all Tampa had to offer. Quiet community, close to the grocery store and the house was beautiful and relaxing. we were able to wake up in the morning, sit on the deck and enjoy the weather. Our kids are older and enjoyed the kayaks, paddle boards and pool.

We loved our peaceful stay at Kristen’s cool lake house. It really gave us the retro vibes we were looking for. Kristen’s helpfulness and quick communication was a great bonus! It was fun to watch the ducks and boats on the lake, and we enjoyed sitting on the deck for some sun time. The beds were comfy and we had all the room we needed. Thank you, Kristen!

Was an excellent home for a family of seven! Plenty of space and amenities including kayaks and paddle boards! Beautiful grounds and well kept house, though wished heated pool was a bit warmer. We would absolutely return and stay at this wonderful home!!
